In The Impossible Challenge, players operate a red square on a compact game field, inhabited by four blue rectangles. The challenge lies in maneuvering the red square around the screen without making contact with anything, including the edges of the screen and any other hurdles. The player must keep a keen eye on their square and the surrounding obstacles. The key to survival is to adeptly evade the opponents by altering the speed of your movement.

The longer the player survives, the more coins they accumulate, which appear sporadically throughout the game. These coins serve as a means to rack up additional points, aiding players in surpassing their personal best scores. It is not necessary to keep your finger on the red square during the entire game, only when you need to sidestep an obstacle.

Design and Character Selection

Initially, the user interface of the game boasts a classic aesthetic, but as players progress, they can unlock more contemporary designs. The Impossible Challenge offers a diverse character selection of over 69 different characters. Players can select any of these characters to compete against entertaining opponents like killer frogs.

To unlock each new character, players must accomplish a challenge with their current character. The collection of coins and time contributes to the final score, which could potentially secure a place for the player on the game's leaderboard.
